In the book, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, A girl named Liesel and her brother Werner have to get new foster parents. The girl Liesel (The Book Thief) and the boy named Werner decide to go on a train to get there. While on the train Liesel has to watch a slow death of her brother and she has to worry about her new foster parents. Soon after arriving at her new house, Liesel figures out that her step parents Hans and Rosa Hubermann turn out to be nice but angry sometimes while smoking. Soon after that, Liesel meets a nice boy named Rudy, and they end up becoming very good friends. Later in the book i am guessing that Liesel and Rudy are going to become very good friends. Also they will probably meet new characters in the book and go to school somewhere. Also the author Markus Zusak was born on June 23, 1975 and he was born in Sydney, Australia. Zusak is famous for his two most popular books, The Book Thief and The Messenger which are both very much related.
What is the relation between the book thief and the messenger? The author must be good at foreshadowing so that the read can tell that Liesel and Rudy are going to be friends.
